Does Hometatoes move real money?
No. Money amounts are a family IOU ledger: a record of what a parent owes, what was spent, or what was paid outside the app. Hometatoes holds no funds and makes no transfers.
Can children suggest their own jobs?
Yes. A child with the appropriate access can propose a job and a reward. A parent agrees first, then approves completed work.
What can another household see?
Access is tied to household membership and grants for a specific child. Another household does not automatically receive your private records. Shared access must be granted explicitly.
Are calendars and school email connected?
Not yet. Two-way Google and Outlook calendars and reviewed school-email suggestions are planned. They are not part of the current connected experience.
Are iPhone and Android apps available?
An early Android test build exists. Dedicated iPhone and Android releases are in development. There are no App Store or Google Play releases to download yet.
Is the core experience free?
The core experience is free. Hometatoes does not offer paid tiers or process payments in this early version.
