This is an early-testing privacy summary, not a claim that the full launch policy is complete. Please use fictional child profiles during testing.

What the app uses

Hometatoes uses an email address to authenticate your account. Household names, child display names, routines, job proposals, approvals, IOU entries and goals are stored in the dedicated Supabase backend.

Access and boundaries

Database rules limit records by household and child access. Parent permissions are checked on the server. Another household does not automatically gain access to your private records.

Your device

Your browser saves your sign-in on this device only if you choose “Keep me signed in.” Leave it off on a shared device. Signing out removes the saved session. The website’s offline cache contains only a public offline explanation, not family records or authentication tokens.

Service providers and launch policy

DreamHost hosts this website. Supabase provides account authentication and data storage. Resend delivers account verification emails. Calendar and school-email integrations are not connected.

Before wider launch, the operator must publish support/contact details, retention and deletion procedures, applicable regional disclosures and child-account rules. Do not enter medical or other sensitive child information into this test version.
