A simple two-home packing checklist.
Use one short list for belongings that need to travel between homes. Keep it about the items, rather than addresses, location history or private family arrangements. This is a blank printable guide, not an app feature or a connected family record.
Before you pack
Choose only the categories that apply. If an item already stays at each home, cross it off the travelling list. An adult can review the list with the child and agree who will check the bag.
| Item category | To pack | Checked |
|---|---|---|
| School or activity bag | ________________ | ☐ |
| Clothes for the next activities | ________________ | ☐ |
| Weather gear | ________________ | ☐ |
| Activity equipment | ________________ | ☐ |
| A chosen comfort item | ________________ | ☐ |
| Something to return | ________________ | ☐ |
| Other non-sensitive item | ________________ | ☐ |
Keep private details off the list
Do not add home addresses, passwords, access codes, detailed schedules or sensitive child information to a broadly shared checklist. Adults should handle medical or other sensitive instructions separately through an appropriate private arrangement.
At the other end
- Check that the travelling items arrived.
- Put anything to return in one agreed place.
- Update your own paper list if an item no longer needs to travel.
The goal is a useful reminder, not a score for who forgot something. Keep the list short enough to check together.
Print or copy
Use your browser's Print command for a clean paper copy, or copy the categories into your own notebook. This page has no form, account connection or upload. Your completed paper list stays with you.
